| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The iRobot Roomba 550 Vacuum Cleaning Robot features the newest innovations for dramatically improved performance, reliability and durability. It allows you to schedule to vacuum when it's most convenient - whether you're at home or on the go. Virtual Wall Lighthouse keeps Roomba cleaning in one room, then guides it to the next. Roomba 550 automatically returns to its home base to charge between cleanings. Roomba easily cleans hard to reach places, under beds and around furniture. Side brush reaches into corners and along edges to remove dust, dirt and debris. Roomba 550 self adjusts from carpets to hard floors automatically.

| Customer Reviews:
Cheaper at Costco, plus not worth money even there November 29, 2008 D. Levin (Utah, USA) I bought one of these at Costco for $300 (shipping included)- enough for you to save even after buying a Costco membership. However, it was not able to deal with the dog hair that I bought it to pick up. Instead of picking it up, it would leave little clumps around the floor - which at least made it easier to sweep up. Moreover, it would get itself caught on the legs of my Scandinavian style armchair and get confused and be unable to find its way out from underneath another armchair that is in a corner. So, if you don't have pets - and have relatively little furniture - and none of that furniture is in corners - this may well work for you.
