I am not sure about the other reviews, but my roomba docks fine with this on it's bumper. It does a great job and prevents those little nicks on the wood furniture and keeps the roomba looking great. It is a little pricey for what it is, but worth it in my book if you have dark furniture legs that are vulnerable to the impact of a roomba bumper

This little bumper keeps Roomba from marking up walls and furniture. Our white baseboards where getting black smudge marks on them from our Roomba 550 until we added this bumper. It works great and doesn't affect any of Roomba's operations.

This bumper seems like it will work very well. It has an agressive adhesive, so I don't think there is any risk that it will fall off like the one that came with my Roomba. Be sure to position it carefully before you adhere the adhesive since you will not be able to reposition it. The bumper itself is nice and soft so I think it will protect the corners of my furniture where I noticed some wear in the finish due to using the Roomba for almost 2 years.

I like the Roomba bumper pad, and consider it a must to go along with the roomba. I did have a problem with furniture that has opening at the bottom, it does bump some, mainly my entertainment center.
